Please support my work on Patreon:   / jayhosking   A live, semi-improvised track performed entirely on the Moog One. The Moog One is an analog polysynth from Moog. That is astounding in and of itself. Considering its price tag, I'm sad to say there are things I don't love, like its effects, sequencer, and state variable filter. But its oscillators and filters are gorgeous, it has a classic sound that can also lead to some interesting new territory, and the multi-timbrality is extremely useful. Plus it's a beauty to look at and touch. I'm not sure how much I'll use it in larger, hardware-only setups, since it's so big, but I do think it is a dream synth for those who spend most of their musical time multitracking. Here, I did some sound design explorations of the Moog, loaded three of the patches I made into a single multi-timbre preset, and created a song from a few ideas I had.
