Godzilla Battle Line: Destoroyah Leader Matches

This is an old ass video back when leader ability damage didn't scale with levels. Destoroyah now does over 4000 damage with this ability in a huge ass hitbox, making the attack boost it gives almost pointless. Hes cracked out of his mind when it comes to wiping pushes, and has changed drastically since this video was posted. But If you still wanna read the old description of this vid for some reason, go ahead it's below this. After being completely disappointed by Destoroyah as a unit, I was plesantly surprised at how good he was as a leader. Well, for a 4 star leader anyway. Destoroyah has the same dookie dogshit hp like all 4 star leaders do. At lv 10 he has 6552 hp. That is exactly the same as a lv 10 Fire Rodan leader which makes no sense. One is a bird and the other is a goddamn mutant crab dragon, so you'd think he'd be a bit bulkier. His damage is also ass. Can't even one shot a Kamacurus and those little fuckers can take out a quarter of his health given the chance. Destoroyah's leader ability is what makes him good. It's 3 cost, has a 90 second cooldown, and gives a 30% attack buff to all short range allies on the field for 15 seconds. This ability boosts some pretty good units like Gigan 04, King Caesar, Kamacurus and Megaguirus. (Who I didn't even know was short range until after I watched TS Dragun's all Godzilla team vid ) The pool of monsters Destoroyah can buff is pretty small though. You'd think he could buff some other units like G89 and Anguirus, but those two are classified as medium range even though they're both brawlers and don't hit any farther than Gigan and King Caesar can. A lot of the ranges don't make any sense. Battra and Super X are both long range even though Super X's range is nearly double Battra's, so shouldn't Battra be medium range? Why do these two units, who have very different sized ranges have the same classification, but G89 and King Caesar are considered different even though they're both up close brawlers? It's weird. Anyway, this is the most fun I've had with a 4 star leader since season 2 when Mothra was broken, and that's because Destoroyah's ability has a good usable niche that sets it apart from other shitty 4 star leaders. Usually they just give some weak attack boost to the same pool of monsters that G89 can. For example let's look at Rodan again, he gives a 20% attack buff to all flying units. G89 can do the same thing, cause all the good fliers are 5 cost and up, and his is a 50% boost. The only niche Rodan has over G89 is being able to buff Dorats. Yes, fucking Dorats. So unless you have lv 40 Dorats you should never ever use Rodan over G89. Destoroyah on the other hand can buff Gigan 04 and King Caesar while G89 cannot. These are two very good units that can actually win games in the right scenario. I'm not saying Destoroyah is better than G89, far from it. His stats are atrocious. But Destoroyah is one of the better 4 star leaders we've gotten in a long time and I'm glad he's actually usable. TS Dragun Youtube:    / thetoxicxhunter
