Most of my Art Practice as a working Artist consists of Sketching, observing the world around me, and trying to improve my Drawing skills. In this Art Vlog I want to show you my daily art practice and how I make sketching more engaging. I find painting more exciting, so forcing myself to sit down and practice my drawing skills is not always fun. But I recently discovered new kinds of mark making to draw with more expression and creativity. Learning how to use line quality to indicate tone of voice and emotion really helped me find joy in sketching again. I'll be sketching plants in my art studio, studying flowers at a botanical garden, going on a picnic, and doing more flower drawings at night!
