Filmed in January 2023 Southwest is probably the best-known airline in the USA and what are they known for? Cheap fares on relatively short flights with no extras or amenities. Essentially just a ferry service from one city to the next. Although I have flown Southwest a great many times in my life, I have never flown with them for more than 2 hours. After they started flying to Hawaii back in 2019, that inspired me to see what it was like to fly with them on their longest flight. I must say, for a carrier that is known best for short flights, they have a solid Hawaii product. Passengers get a well-stocked snack box, which is more food I’ve had on a southwest plane than ever before, and a vast island-to-island connection network. It was a nice feeling to be pleasantly surprised by Southwest and I would definitely recommend flying them on their Hawaiian services.
