In 1984, Team Apache created Warpath, a 41-foot Deep-V record-setting offshore racing boat purpose-built for complete dominance in the American Offshore Racing World Championship. With over 2,000 horsepower, a lightweight Kevlar hull, and a top speed in excess of 120mph, its no wonder that the boat would indeed take the World Championship in 1984 - marking the absolute apex of the Deep-V design in offshore racing. Soon to be offered at Bring a Trailer, we had the privilege of spending a day with this storied boat along the azure waters of Miami Beach, capturing photos and video, time lapse, and drone footage of her in action. From the rumble of the big block 354 Chevy engines, to the sleek profile of the hull cutting through the chop like a warm knife through butter - it was a visceral experience.
