(2) The Harp part shown here may not have been played by an actual harp in the actual song, but probably a harp-like sound on a synthesizer/ synthesizer pads. (3) The rest of the lines: Synth, bass, guitar, tabla, santoor are all actually used as such in the original song. However, just like actor Rajini is famous for his style (even though all actors have their own styles), Maestro Ilaiyaraja is famous for his counterpoints (even though every composer uses counterpoints). (2) Counterpoint is composing multiple tracks of music (both instrumental and vocal) so that they sound good together. They sound harmonious together. They are independent in melody and rhythm, but harmonically they sound pleasant together.
