This town can boast of the unique and sensational views that come with being adjacent to Lake Atitlan, which was voted one of the Seven Wonders of Central America by Imaginative Traveller. Lake Atitlan is Central America's deepest lake and was formed by a volcanic eruption approximately 84,000 years ago. In the morning we had breakfast and then a pleasant walk out to the Nature Reserve for the ziplining.
