ActRaiser (SNES) No Death Longplay

In this video I complete the entire normal game of Actraiser on the original cartridge and hardware without dying. During the video I manage to get my character to the maximum achievable level through population means, although I have gotten a slightly higher overall population before on other playthroughs. No death also includes the simulation portions where the angel never suffered temporary incapacitation from a depleted life bar. Most of the tactics can be gathered from the video so I do not need to dive into those here. I could have been more sporting with the bosses but decided to overwhelm them with magic as well as the standard sword attacks. You will note that I do not save the game until I am about to enter Death Heim, and this is simply so I can have access to the post game professional mode for later playthroughs. For the most part I follow the town order suggested by the game on the town statistics menu. However, it has always made sense, to me at least, to do Marahna before Aitos since it ties up the plague event for Kasandora and allows you to get the Aura master’s magic that I tend to favor for close combat boss scenarios.
