Samurai Warriors 4-II | How to Get Rare Weapons in Survival Mode

This is a video showing an alternate way of getting rare weapons. This is easier than getting them in story/free mode completing several missions, though, this way requires some luck as it is random. You have to find and beat someone called the "Secret Treasure Bearer". Make sure it's "Secret Treasure Bearer" because there is also a guy just called "Treasure Bearer" who only gives you gold, exp., or non-customizable 4-star weapons. The "Secret Treasure Bearer" just randomly appears on whichever level, but most people seem to encounter him starting on the 90ish levels and above. This is the third time I encounter him. First two times happened on about levels 91 and 93. Some people have also encountered him as early as the 60ish levels due to apparently having the luck weapon skill. I haven't tried the luck skill, so I wouldn't know. If the "Secret Treasure Bearer" is on a level, a message will show at the bottom of the screen. Once you get a character's rare weapon, you'll be able to get customizable versions of it in this mode by killing officers in the high levels causing them to randomly drop. The rare weapons seem to be better than the dlc, at least in that they have higher leveled skills.
