This is the end of a 20-year-old challenge for me. Watch Live:   / ninjacocktail   I believe this is the closest of what a 100% category would be for this game. As a kid, I couldn't manage to get 100% Level Completion for most levels because I couldn't find all the hidden coins or pick them all in a single run. At the time I didn't know the Death Abuse strat that is mandatory at some places to collect everything. The rules of this challenge are the following: - 100% Level Completion: You have to pick all the required coins, then show the "100%" screen at the end of each level. That includes picking all the permanently visible coins, and all the coins released by a defeated enemy. If a coin is missed, the 100% will drop, thus the run is invalidated. - All Letters: You have to collect all the letters in the levels in which they appear, then show "HERCULES" in full letters at the end of the level. Missing a letter invalidates the run. - All Vases: You have to pick all 4 vases which contribute to creating a password, then show the password screen at the end of each level. The trophies that give an extra life do not count as vases. Missing a vase invalidates the run. - Continues are allowed. - If a screen is not shown in order to prove that the condition has been fulfilled, the run is invalidated. About this run: My goal was completing my first full 100% LC All Letters & Vases run and under 1 hour. I compared this run with splits from an invalidated attempt just to keep track of my sub 1 hour goal. This run is solid up to Titan Flight. I was too nervous after I got the first vase. I died too many times and had to Game Over and use a Continue. It is allowed to use Continues but that's a shame considering that I had 7 lives at my first attempt. I lost 6 minutes. Else, I have a non-mandatory death in Cyclops and Passageways. Another 2 minutes can be saved. I believe that a sub 50 minutes run is possible for this challenge. If this become a new category on the leaderboard, maybe I'll consider achieving this goal. For now I just want a clean run without a continue in it, so I'll grind it a bit more. Thanks for watching.
