hi friends, i am an ambulatory wheelchair user, which means that i can stand un-assisted for short periods of time and get around with other mobility aids. my wheelchair is helpful to me when going long distances, carrying items from one place to another, and doing more tasks independently, so i use it a lot of the time. this video aims to spread awareness about the importance of understanding individual needs, and why it's essential to approach every mobility device with an open mind, never assuming that all wheelchairs are the same or work the same for different people.
