In October, my mom arrived in India for her second trip here and we were finally able to welcome her into our home in a small Kerala town of Payyanur. While we were excited to show my mom all the incredibly beautiful nature surrounding our home in the jungle and of course have her also see just see our home and the lovely life I as a Finnish foreigner have been able to make for myself in India, the most important thing however was to just have her spend lots of time together with Annika playing and speaking Finnish, have Mummi be a part of our everyday Finnish Indian family life.
