Medical Termilogy is the language used to describe procedures, anatomical structure conditions, processes and treatments. This is the appropriate means of communication between provider of all disciplines. Root words: derive from Latin or Greek words. It is the main subject that it's being referred to. It is the core word of the subject being talked about. A prefix or suffix can be added to the root word. Prefix: Goes at the beginning of the word.
