Trans-Catalina Trail in a Day!

This is from my trail run of the entire Trans-Catalina Trail on Catalina Island from May 2023. I ran the entire 40ish mile trail in about 10.5 hours... which included my breaks. There was about 8000' of gain and the weather and views were amazing. Sadly not a buffalo or fox was to be seen. I left from Long Beach on the Catalina Express ferry and landed in Avalon... which I found out was the true start of the trail. After finishing the run I stayed at the Banning House in Two Harbors. My sister met me there with an overnight bag and we got some dinner and breakfast on the island before taking another ferry back to San Pedro (next to Long Beach).
