Xiahou Yuan has the Officer moveset, which is shared between himself, Gan Ning and Huang Zhong. It's a simple and easy to use moveset, but it has some quirks to it where you need to position yourself correctly for the charge attacks to hit. Hu Lao Gate is a step up in difficulty, and it's where morale plays a massive part in the game. Cao Cao's forces attack from behind, but Yuan Shao will order Cao Cao to hold position until Fan Shui Gate has fallen. This forces a solo section on the player as they head to the gate themselves. Pushing on ahead to Hu Lao Gate will just get you murdered at this point, especially if you want to take on Lu Bu. Against Lu Bu in this game, you want allies with you to direct Lu Bu's attention towards them so you can attack from behind. Fighting Lu Bu 1 on 1 will just result in you getting wrecked since Lu Bu's moveset is full on single target and power, meaning he WILL break your guard and punish you for it. Sometimes Dong Zhuo will ambush Yuan Shao from behind, but for some reason it didn't trigger here.
