Dynasty Warriors 3 - Hu Lao Gate | Xiahou Yuan (Very Hard)

Xiahou Yuan is one of the best characters in the XL expansion. His 5th weapon has the Steel, AKA Death Element, and comes out on his C6. Xiahou Yuan attacks faster than you think, and having the Officer moveset makes him really safe to use anyway, so it's really easy to use the C6. If you compare the Hard mode fight of Lu Bu in DW2 to this one, you can see just how much elements ruin these games difficulty. At least the enemy AI is actually hard to where you need to set it up, unlike in the WO games where it's just spamming the exact same attack because the enemy can literally do nothing against it. The 3 best characters in this game are Xiahou Yuan, Cao Cao, and Xiaoqiao, simply because their C6 has that death element. Cao Cao is full on offense and range, making him the best against crowds but very weak defensively, Xiaoqiao focuses on single target and is more defensive, making her the best against officers, whilst Xiahou Yuan is a balance of both.
