Short demo of a cold start showing each step and the right way to start up the old 2 stroke Evinrude V4 motor on my boat - might apply to Mercury, Johnson and other 2 stroke outboards too! I couldn't find good resources explaining everything to do in order, and why we do certain things when starting up a 2 stroke outboard boat. So here it is for you if you need to know! I also go for a super quick little boat ride! Here are the steps I reference in this video: 1. Fuel and pump up the pressure 2. Oil (if injected) 3. Main power and engine in the water 4.
