We set out on a massive Chinatown street food tour in Binondo, Manila, looking for the best street food in Manila and the most popular Chinese Filipino street foods. We started off with some baos and pies, before sinking our teeth into some homemade dumplings. The flavours of chives and herbs in these dishes were so flavourful and tasty. Filipino Chinese food is just so delicious. We continued on our Chinatown Filipino street food tour looking for the best street food in the Philippines. We went to a local shop for hand pulled noodles, called lamian. The lamian was so fresh and tasty! It was great to watch them hand pull the lamian right at the front of the shop. We finished off our Chinatown street food tour in Binondo, Manila eating hopia. Hopia are a Filipino Chinese food in the Philippines that’s very popular, and the ube hopia originated at the restaurants we visited, Eng Bee Tin.
