Since graduating from Midwestern University, Elizabeth has worked in various Subacute Nursing facilities across the Chicago-land area including specialties in orthopedic, psychiatric and neurorehabilitation as well as within the acute inpatient rehabilitation hospital and home health setting. She has taught continuing education courses on neuromuscular re-education for balance retrieval and upper extremity motor recovery after stroke. She has served as clinical instructor for 9 years and received The Governors State University Clinical Instructor Excellence Award. Elizabeth is certified in LSVT BIG, Otaga, stroke rehabilitation and Tai-Chi. She is also a Certified Functional Aging Specialist and an Older Adult Exercise Consultant. In her spare time, Elizabeth loves watching soccer, taking her three dogs to the park and rollerblading by the lake.
