Enforcer™ Pumper – Felton, CA

Santa Cruz County Fire Department has taken delivery of TWO #Enforcer #Pumpers! Walk around one #Pumper with Fire Captain Bryan Whitaker. #FeltonCA has various coverage areas including both rural and city. The front bumper was shortened to give a high approach angle due to narrow driveways and high departures. In the crew cab, a custom split compartment was built to store firefighter gear on the top portion preventing any loose gear in the cab. The crosslays were moved as low as possible for accessibility and a reel booster line will assist with quick attacks for grass and trash fires. The engineer compartment contains an air compressor to automatically kick on if the engine drops to a certain PSI. Lights were added on the inside of compartment doors for increased visibility when setting up at night, along with recessed 45-degree angle lighting for blind spots. Bars were added on the rear of the apparatus for quick hose deployment during wildland urban interface calls and can be extended for structure calls.
