Vision's 1995 full length video release covering Burlington Northern and Chicago & North Western operations in eastern Wyoming. BN coal, merchandise, and intermodal trains are seen operating over the Black Hills and Orin Subdivisions, formerly the 5th and 10th Subdivisions, respectively, prior to 1993. CNW coal trains are featured as they operate over their Powder River Subdivision, part of which being joint trackage with the Burlington Northern on the shared Orin Subdivision. Powder River Basin coal mines were as busy as they had ever been, loading trains at a steady pace for both railroads. BN employed models SD40-2, SD60, SD60M, SD70MAC, and C30-7 for their heavy haul coal trains during the time we shot this video, and you'll see these units in their prime. C&NW locomotive models include GP50, SD40-2, SD50, SD60, C40-8, C44-9W, and AC4400CW, in addition to plenty of Union Pacific power. Enjoy classic 90s railroad action in "Wyoming Coal Trains".
