CHEWY SAPIN SAPIN, ANG SARAP!

Welcome to my channel    / @katernofoods   SAPIN-SAPIN is one of the most beautiful rice sweet delicacies we Filipinos have. It is tri- colour and you will only find this when you cut or slice it across. It is very delicious and tasty as well. Imagine the ube, and langka fusion! I am glad in our current we have ube flavour food colouring. I hope we will have langka flavor food colouring in the future. SAPIN-SAPIN is glutinous and rice flours combined with sugar. The mixture is dissolved in rich coconut milk or cream and condensed milk. To make it chewy, lye water is added. SAPIN-SAPIN has the aesthetic appeal as well because of the toppings added. This can be toasted desiccated coconut or fresh coconut or latik. These toppings add a creamier flavor to the SAPIN-SAPIN, making it so SPECIAL!! I hope you will watch the video from start to end. BTW, the list of ingredients used is shown below. The ingredients are always available all year round.
