Easily play bass in any key using The Nashville Number System.

**I know I screwed up and called it the Tennessee Number System but in my defense I'm from New York and just know the meaning of it while forgetting the name. Please forgive me.** This process is how we transpose music. We essentially give a number to the Do-Re-Mi-Fa-So-La-Ti-Do description of the major scale so we can easily move any bass line around the neck to any key we decide to play it in. The relationship or distance between the notes stays the same whenever we move the entire pattern to whatever key we want to play it in. That last sentence is what transposing music is all about.
