KITTY CHESHIRE DOLL BED REMAKE [EVER AFTER HIGH]

Thanks to all of you, my Kitty Cheshire doll bed remake is now complete! Because of your encouragement, I decided to try and execute my hand-drawn design, and I am actually really happy with how my 2nd Kitty Cheshire doll bed has turned out. My idea for remaking Kitty Cheshire's doll bed was to make it cat-shaped, since Kitty is...well, a cat. So I cut out 4 pieces of foam board: 2 for either side of the cat, 1 for the headboard, which is her tail, and 1 for the footboard, which is the cat's head. Then I painted those pieces black and lined them with ribbon. For the footboard, instead of drawing a cat's head, I just swiped the smiling cat-head piece off of my daughter's Kitty Cheshire wig (she was not terribly happy about that, but she never really wore it anyway). To decorate her headboard (the tail), I painted two double-headed arrows that I found at Michaels and wrote on them in crazy handwriting, "This Way" and "That Way." For her pillow, I took a piece of gray recycled felt and cut it into a rectangle, then hot-glued a piece of pink-and-purple ribbon with a chevron pattern on top of it. I also used a piece of swirling bling on black background trim across the front of the pillow (I used the same trim on the footboard and the sides of Kitty's blanket as well). Then I folded the rectangle back, hot-glued the ends to meet, and stuffed the middle with cotton balls. Then I hot-glued the 4th side. For Kitty's blanket, I had a piece of fabric custom-printed off of Spoonflower.com...it was called "Cheshire Diamonds." I then lined the top with the recycled gray felt, lined the top-and-bottom edges of the felt with a lavender flower trim, then the lined the rest of the blanket with the black swirling bling trim. I then decided to make her some yarn balls as "pillows." I used some round wooden beads about 1" in diameter, and wound purple yarn around them. I also decided to make Kitty Cheshire her very own scratching post. For this, I used the inside of a wrapping paper roll, and hot-glued the gray felt around it. To make the top and bottom, I cut out two squares and cardboard and covered them in the gray felt. Then I hot-glued the 3 pieces together to assemble the scratching post. As a final touch, I hot-glued another yarn ball to the top of the scratching post for Kitty to play with. Voila! My Kitty Cheshire bed remake is complete.
