Simone asks Layla "Why" regarding Layla and Jordan being together. Simone ends her friendship with Layla. All American Homecoming Season 2 episode 7 part 2 Layla is visiting Simone in Atlanta and has told her about her and Jordan being in a serious relationship. Right after that, she storms out of Patience’s show with Lando. Simone does not acknowledge what happened and he asks her what happened. He then tells her that it is honorable that Layla came to tell her instead of having a relationship with Jordan behind her back. Simone asks Layla to meet her after her workout, but Layla shows up at the workout and eventually Simone asks “Why ?”. Layla further explains that she wants to save their friendship and that it is now up to Simone to decide. After a discussion with her aunt, Simone decides to be honest with Layla.
