Follow me On Instagram : https://bit.ly/3bcOuhd So What is Pulpitis? - As we have studied in the previous lecture, pulpitis in simple words is the inflammation of the pulp. - Pulpitis is a process that occurs within the pulp when there is an external stimuli, like bacterial attack or mechanical trauma to the the pulp. - There are two types of pulpitis. Reversible pulpitis and Irreversible pulpitis. - Irreversible pulpitis is a chronic inflammatory condition of the pulp in which the pulp cannot revert back to it's original state even if the cause is removed. - Causes of irreversible pulpitis are similar to that of reversible pulpitis. Only the causes are now much more exaggerated. -How to diagnose Irreversible pulpitis? Irreversible Pulpitis can be with or without symptoms.
