Vintage buses in action feature in the beautiful Derbyshire Dales at Peak Rail Rowsley South Station gathered for an event with a new host for 2023. With trips by rail or bus along the Derwent Valley this really was a day not to be missed and the good weather ensured a fantastic turnout. Tours to Bakewell, Rowsley and Matlock, trains to Matlock including a whisky steam train and transport related merchandise on sale ensured there was plenty to do. The film starts with some of the buses and coaches arriving including a nice Leyland Leopard from Halifax Corporation and North Western 224 from Manchester. Then the action continues as the buses arrive and depart from the venue with a brief look at some in Bakewell before I undertook the Chatsworth Tour aboard the Midland Vectis Bristol RE. Great credit to Nottingham Heritage Vehicles Charity for hosting this event. Thanks to everyone for your hard work and to the bus owners for bringing their buses for us to enjoy.
