When it comes to vegetarian food, few cuisines do it better than Indian food. India has a very large vegetarian population, so they have mastered the use of spices, sauces, legumes, and cheese so you will not miss meat at all! Trust me, this is even coming from a steak and burger loving carnivore like me! Eggmania in Jersey City is one of the most interesting of these best vegetarian Indian restaurants. Eggmania specializes in, you guessed it, eggs! So, sorry. This spot is not Vegan-friendly. But if you're looking for vegetarian cuisine, eggs are a common substitute for meat due to their low cost, high protein, and great taste! I hear that Eggmania is one of the best Indian restaurants in New Jersey and one of the best Indian restaurants in New York City, at least if counting the Greater New York Area.
