The Hebridean Way runs for 186 miles across the length of the Outer Hebrides in the North West of Scotland. From the Isle of Vatersay to the Butt Of Lewis, it traverses wide open moors, white sand beaches, sea lochs, ferry crossings, and characteristic fishing towns such as Stornoway, Tarbert and Barra. In late September 2022 I set out to solo hike and wild camp its entire length. This is my story. Expect emotions as wild and raw as the landscapes through which I travelled, plenty of rain, and perhaps the odd expletive thrown into the wind! It was a turbulent adventure to remember, but my hope is that this film leaves you with a sound reminder to never let the world tame your inner WILD.
