Welcome to my channel    / @katernofoods   If we have an abundant supply of fish, we find ways to preserve. One best method is preserving in vinegar with crushed garlic. The marinated fish will go a long way. Mackerel is one kind of fish that is best to use because it has few bones and easy to clean. Of course, milkfish with regards to taste is far better off. The video will show how to prepare, marinate and cook the mackerel by frying. It suggested that if we want the marinated mackerel very crispy, we have to double-fry. The crispiness of the fried marinated mackerel will make us eat everything including the bones and the head part. It is so delicious as is but the taste is further enhanced by dipping it in Sinamak. Sinamak is flavored and very spicy vinegar. It has a lot of hot chili peppers, garlic, onion, ginger, salt and whole peppercorns. I hope you will watch the video from start to end. CRISPY MARINATED MACKEREL Ingredients: 1 kg small mackerel 1 head garlic, minced 1 C vinegar Salt and pepper to taste All-purpose flour or potato starch SINAMAK DIP Ingredients: 2-3 C coconut vinegar (You can also use white or cane vinegar.) 1 C chili pepper (labuyo) 3 T ginger 1 head garlic 3 T whole pepper 1 medium onion Salt and pepper to taste
