But first: YASUNORI MITSUDA FOR A FINAL FANTASY GAME. why wasn't the internet going absolutely nuts when the news broke because I have been waiting for him to score for FF since 1996!!! I mean it's not a full length FF but appears to be the closest we'll ever get to having him write for one, so I had to arrange this a year ago after I beat Episode Ignis and was all up in my feels sobs. Had to also do that campsite scene bit as well because Mitsuda's treatment of the iconic Prologue theme snippet was just so frigging beautiful and so very Mitsuda. Shameful confession: Ignis was the only DLC I completed, and I liked it way better than the main game, it was such a beautiful story. Episode Prompto gameplay was ANNOYING and I'm sorry I just don't care enough about Gladiolus to have played more than ten minutes of his story and I have yet to download Ardyn oops. A shame about the cancellation of the other ones; reading how they would have played out actually seemed super interesting, I would have loved a playable Luna. Anyways I digress lol, Mitsuda did beautiful work on the Ignis OST and I was so happy he finally wrote for an FF game in some way.
