From a gameplay perspective, the M551 in War Thunder is absolutely despicable. Compared to similar vehicles at that battle rating, the Sheridan really doesn't have much going for it. Sure, it has a stabilizer, but there are plenty of other stabilized vehicles with significantly better weapons that are either the same BR or slightly higher. I don't know why Gaijin insists on keeping it where it is, but it is good for one thing: absolutely wrecking light vehicles. Assuming overpressure works, anyway.
