Vaporfly 4% (v1) After 100 Miles

It's taken a bit longer than usual, but I've finally gotten a pair of Vaporfly to 100 miles. For a while, I had been babying these shoes, but now that I have a few pairs, the time seemed right to start really beating up these shoes to see how Zoom X holds up over some mileage. Overall, the rubber on the outsold and the upper have been holding up fantaastically. But the zoom x is wearing down at a somewhat concerning rate in my right lateral heel. It's not a performance issue (yet?), but I'm concerned that it may ultimately lead to the rubber being unable to stay adhered to the outsole because the zoom x is wearing away. Because I have other vaporfly shoes, I don't think I'd race in these anymore. But, I think if these were the only vaporfly I had, I'd still be very happy racing a marathon in these. For me though, these will probably become my long distance workout shoe. Stay tuned to see how these shoes hold up after even more mileage. Thanks for watching!
