Target Audience: Statement of Need This program will address how implicit bias is a contributing factor to health disparities and explore how healthcare providers can explore their own implicit biases to identify unconscious decisions and actions that may negatively affect patient outcomes. Objectives At the conclusion of this offering, the participant will be able to: 1. Define the impact of historical racism and other forms of invidious discrimination on the provision of healthcare. 2. Utilize methods of evaluating the presence and extent of implicit bias. 3.
