le jank 24! even with consistent sub 1'04 and 1'03s i couldn't clear the game on a single credit - as far as i'm aware the highest difficulty setting doesn't give you enough time for that even if you drive perfectly. perhaps it's possible on real hardware... re: me slowing down starting at 06:40 - to avoid a nasty glitch where the race leader never spawns, you can let the 2nd place car overtake a "lapped" one (without any position assigned to it) to make them turn into the 1st and 2nd place cars respectively. you can see it happen at 07:11. the whole thing ended up costing me about 10 seconds, but that's better than ending up in second place. played with keyboard + mouse.
