The LHCP Gateway Boards – April 2022

The film features the launch of new information boards in the Lickey Hills Country Park, which was hosted by Mike Brooke. Located at four principal gateways to the Park, members of The Lickey Hills Society, with invaluable support from the Rangers, produced colourfully illustrated and informative double-sided boards each unique to that particular area. A large map shows where you are, the footpaths and bridleways, the hills and the many points of interest to the visitor. The first to be unveiled on the bright but blustery morning was on Beacon Hill by special guest and local poet Giovanni Esposito better known as 'Spoz'. The other three were installed at The Old Rose & Crown, the Fordrough and finally at the Visitor Centre on Warren Lane. All made possible through a generous grant from MASU – The Midland Adult School Union. This film has no commercial implications or gain.
