I spent a lot of time on the thumbnail stage because we were not yet sure about the story idea. At first I tried to balance the 3 characters before getting a new sketch from the Riot artists where Rengar is more prominent. Unfortunately, I did not record thumbnail stage. 3 Characters in one splash is very challenging but also very rewarding! Really love how this turned out. Couldn't have done this without all the help from everyone! Huge thanks to West Studio for this rare opportunity! Thanks to the Riot team for all the support! Some painting stats: -This video is sped up 95 times. The actual video time is 56 hours. - I use 10,000 x 5625 pixels as my Canvas size. It's a bit larger than what is required so that when it is downsized, it will be sharper. - This took around 100+ hours of labor in total including the research, referencing and thumbnail stages which were not in the video. I usually spend around 24 working days on a splash like this. I only work on weekdays and on a 8-am to 5pm schedule.
