Usually it'll take 3-4 season at most, but in this video i go through some tips to stop it from happening! No one wants their Career Mode to get boring after they've put hours and hours starting it off. -- Restrict signings Each league has different demographics These can be age, nationality, height or style of play Nationality and age are the easiest to measure, each league will have specific stats for each For example, the Premier League is 40% english. The championship and league one 55-65% english and League two 75%. This is a common feature of most leagues, the further down you go the more domestic players you get.   / pulled_the_data_for_myself_but_wanted_to_s...   Tip for you here is to try to keep your squad realistic by limiting yourself to players of a certain nationality and age. This might force you to take a worse player, who doesnt quite fit in and add to the challenge. This happens thousands of times each transfer window irl, but hardly ever in fifa. -- Investigate your team before starting Before every save with a team im not familiar with, i make sure to check wiki, google news and search them on news sites. Usually a team will have at least one interesting article/thing to know This could be owned by a certain nationality It could be that they are under an embargo irl so shouldn't sign players in fifa It could even be a unique restriction like Chivas or Athletic Club with signing nationalites. If you cant find something but still want to play a certain club, why not invent your own! Pretend they were bought by a foreign owner Pretend they have an academy in an interesting country Pretend theyre in huge debt and cant sign any players You can even come up with full season long storyline objectives that you need to fulfil around these restrictions. -- Youth & Academy Do the training manually until you have an A grade for each variation This makes your players improve faster and you’ll get to know some of your players abilities for shooting/dribbling/defending etc. Invest time in younger players, not just your best XI Coming from FUT this might be strange, but sometimes you should run a weaker team rather than your 11 best players Look for cheaper young players on the transfer list Once developed you’ll be able to sell them for a lot more money -- Use preseason to experiment with difficulty CM is more fun when its a challenge Make sure you arent winning 9-0 every week! Cup games are another good way to experiment mid season -- Dont get too attached to your players You will likely outgrow most of your starting squad Try to keep some all the way, as teams like Blackpool & Bournemouth did irl Dont rebuild your team every year (keep team semi consistent) No team signs 11 new player for their starting team after promotion Pick a realistic number, something like 3 or 4 to replace to progress slower and enjoy your time in these lower leagues -- Give different leagues a go You don't always have to play in England, give Germany, France or Spain a go. They might be less leagues, but can take just as many season if because of better teams in those leagues. If you find them too easy, create a club thats nowhere near good enough, give yourself no money and see if you can struggle up the leagues.
