BAND-MAID - DICE/Hate? : Language Learning Motivation

Here's a motivational video of the phenomenal all female rock band called BAND-MAID!! This is a band for the history books with a complicated song structure and loads of just kick-ass hard rock! My big mistake was thinking that they were an idol group...this is REAL ROCK!🤘 There are other recordings of these songs with cleaner sound and camera work, but this was a cool outdoor festival performance. One of my kids didn't know BAND-MAID played at Lollapalooza, so I chose this performance. This is my first video made using DaVinci Resolve...please bear with the mistakes, I'm still learning. First of all, I want to thank the creator of an excellent and informative channel @Ohrenje for guidance on how to do this better. I really like how clean his format is...I hope to get to that level someday as I improve in the aspects of video creation. It really forced me to learn more both in my target language of Japanese and video editing. Plus, I'm learning new lyrics to sing....while driving in my car of course! I've decided that for these types of videos, I'll play the entire song with my translation (including my mistakes) and then after the video - switch to an analysis of a few lines of lyrics sharing grammar points that I've learned. If you translate on your own, the meaning of the song may change a bit from my interpretation...we're learning together! Kanji looks similar, but the second one has the radical 人 For this video, I'm using the following equipment: Lapel mic for audio Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra to record video Lighting elements adjusted (key light and supplemental) Hokem gimbal for my camera mount Software environment is now DaVinci Resolve. This is my first video using DaVinci Resolve and there is still a huge learning curve - I will continue to improve the sound over time. Since I'm currently using the free version of DaVinci Resolve until I become a more advanced user - the voice isolation feature is not available - I will learn to improve this in the future. However, I'm figuring out a few other sound and voice features within Resolve to make my voice more clearly understood. ********* NOTE: I am a fellow learner and not claiming to be a teacher in any of these subjects, but sharing my learning methods for motivation. I hope some of these videos are helpful to people out there learning new skills in adulthood. Please feel free to share your experiences with me and others. Remember that we are always learning together. I am not a teacher, but currently learning from teachers in these subjects: My translations, karate techniques, spoken language, etc., will often have many mistakes as I'm figuring this out on my own as much as possible. The mistakes are necessary for learning and I will make many many mistakes in the videos as I'm still learning these subjects.... including HOW to make videos.
