The weather was great, bar the wind, the company was world class, and the views the Pentlands had to offer were something you'd expect to see in the most exotic, remote of locations. Not just a few miles outside of Edinburgh! I ended up trekking about 1 hour to the spot after initially planning a proper car camping experience, but we were not disappointed with this wild camping location. Clubbiedean reservoir had lots of great camping spots and flat ground, with a loch side spot to safely have a fire. Genuinely one of my best camping experiences and a crowd certainly does help.
