EDIT 5/9/21: SHEETS NOW AVAILABLE! https://www.musicnotes.com/l/jrDp4 Ok so this theme was never my favorite but I always thought it had interesting harmonic potential so I took a couple of days with it and turned it into something I liked hahaha. As some of you know Rachmaninoff is my drug of choice lol so it naturally went in that direction, I had some of the Etudes-Tableaux Op. 39 in mind while writing this. As with A Place to Rest and Unfulfilled, this arrangement is also a musical character study, this time of Rhea, for obvious reasons. She is a beautiful, mysterious lady, benevolent and sinister and somewhat sultry all at once. I really like how the original theme highlights these characteristics with the alternating major third and tritone in the left hand harmony, one of the most consonant intervals juxtaposed with the most dissonant in order to convey the dark and light halves of her personality, which makes for an unsettling vibe overall For the first time through I played it more or less exactly as it plays in the game, but for the second time I just let it meander off into weird and wonderful places while trying to stay true to the original, and I really dig the result and hope you do too. It's not the sexiest theme like Chasing Daybreak or Fodlan Winds but I had fun with it! Tearing Through Heaven next hahahaha! If you've been following me on twitter, that one is gonna be wild lol.
