When I ask my colleagues about their practice, I always find myself surprised that so many of them, especially newer docs, refuse to do RGP contact lens fits! This is a shame because there are so many patients out there that currently need to wear them, due to issues such as high astigmatism or being unhappy with soft contacts. Being proficient at RGP lens fits can create a huge boost for your practice, as you might be one of the few providers in your area that fit them!
