"Juba" ("جوبا") by an-Noor al-Jeylaani | English Translation

“Juba” (“جوبا”) is a song written, composed and performed by an-Noor al-Jeylaani and is a love letter to South Sudan and its capital, Juba. The song makes frequent reference to locations in South Sudan like Mount Lado and Yei, and serves as an expression of an-Noor al-Jeylaani’s passionate Sudanese unionist sentiments and one of his most popular songs. Lyrics: داير روحك تفرحها؟ (هي هي هي) dayir roohak tafriha (hey hey hey) Do you want to make yourself happy?
