Another Hot Springs Paradise - Trails Into Reverie - Part 147 - Beyond The Reverie Daydream

Our playthrough of Trails Into Reverie nightmare difficulty continues! That's right ladies and gentlemen our journey through the Legend Of Heroes Trails Into Reverie isn't over just yet as there is one rather significant Daydream Episode left to see! The special white sealing stone daydreams are not like the original blue ones, these show us a quick glimpse or a teaser if you will of what will happen in the next Kiseki series Trails Through Daybreak! That's right we are going to see what Falcom has in store for the next Legend Of Heroes arc, boy oh boy are we in for a treat in Daybreak! The characters/lore/world building that we are already seeing of what is to happen in Calvard has been none other than astounding and could potentially lead to the darkest and most brutal entry into the Kiseki series ever! Finally Falcom seems to be taking the story to a far more serious direction, at least that's how these incredible white sealing stones are making it out to be. Beyond The Reverie series of narrative story books is nothing like i expected from the end of Trails Into Reverie but it has immediatly jumped in as some of the best moments of the entire game! In todays Daydreams Episode which is fascinatingly called "Another Hot Springs Paradise" we return to our main man and my personal favourite character Rean Schwarzer, 10 months after the events of Trails Into Reverie's Coda chapter. In which we see Rean and his family take a long awaited vacation and where would such a family go on holiday to? Well yet another hot springs paradise of course! After being invited by the owner of a fellow hot springs which is located in the Calvard Republic, with the idea of rebuilding relations between the previously warring nations of Erebonia and Calvard. On the surface this seems like a potentially sweet side story in which we see Rean live a quiet peaceful life surrounded by those he cares about, it couldn't be further from the truth. Rean has an alternative reason for visiting Calvard and that is to finally meet back up with his old master Yun Ka-Fai, who has been rumoured to have been seen in the vicinity of the hot springs. Although very vauge Rean discovers a clue which leads him to a pitch black mountain path, although already on high alert due to extremely low visibilty. It's not without reason as rean comes face to face with foes so powerful that not even Enlightened Spirit Unification could stand a chance against them! They are known as the Ikaruga, practitioners of the Black God One Blade school! What a name that is and it's well deserved as they are led by a woman known as the "princess", someone so powerful that by merely laying eyes on her blade leads to unfathomable fear!
