In this video, Lloyd teaches you a hard figure skating turn right from your home! Choctaws are turns that enter on one edge and exit on another while also changing your skating direction and your foot. You skate in on one circle, then join a new circle when you perform the turn. This is one example of a Choctaw, there are many other ones that can be done and will be covered in future videos if people want to see more :) This figure skating turn is not an easy one and is classified as a difficult turn by @Skating ISU I decided to make this figure skating tutorial video because there is no reason the ice rinks being closed should halt your figure skating progress. There is so much great work that can be done from home, that by the time you get back onto the ice, your figure skating will be on another level!
