COOKiNG 101 ~ LOADED MAC & CHEESE 😋😉

Welcome back to another cooking 101 where we will be making my homemade loaded and macaroni and cheese Here are the ingredients that you will need to make this super yummy recipe: Ingredients: Cooked elbow noodles (I ran out of elbow noodles so I had to use penne, but I would definitely use elbow noodles) One bag of popcorn chicken or chicken strips ( you will need to cut these into smaller pieces) One package of bacon cooked crispy One stick of butter One cup of flour 1/2 tablespoon of garlic salt 1/2 tablespoon of white pepper 1 tablespoon of garlic powder 1 tablespoon of ground yellow mustard 1 tablespoon of minced onion 1 tablespoon of parsley  4 to 6 cups of chicken broth 2 cups of heavy, whipping cream 4 cups of mixed cheese of your choice ( are used sharp, medium, and Colby cheese) One block of cream cheese Directions: 1.) First pre-cook the bacon, noodles, and popcorn or chicken strips. 2.) Next we will make the roux 3.) Roux: melt one stick of butter in a pan, then add the flour and spices. Cook that for about 3 to 4 minutes until it forms a paste, making sure to whisk continually 4.) Once a paste has formed slowly add in the chicken broth, making sure to keep stirring. Then add the heavy whipping cream. 5.) Then add the block of cream cheese and stir often until completely melted. Once the cream cheese is melted add in 4 cups of shredded cheese mix and stir sauce until its smooth and creamy.  6.) In a large bowl, combine the bacon (make sure to reserve some bacon for the top), chicken, noodles, and the cheese sauce. 7.) Now top your mac & cheese off with 1 to 2 cups of sharp, shredded cheese, bacon, and a tablespoon of parsley. 8.) Bake at 375 for about 20 to 30 minutes making sure to watch the top so the cheese does not melt. I. Macaroni and cheese is one of our family’s favorite, you can play around with it if you want to add or take away some of the spices. Also, if you need to add more broth or whipping cream, so you have a little more sauce you can or takeoff some of the shredded cheese. This is just an outline for you to start creating your own Family recipe for macaroni and cheese.
