The Surge - Evolution Theory Trophy/Achievement Guide (Dr. Murphy's Audio Log Locations)

Note: I'd like to preface this video by saying that I'm playing on the PS4, so i keep calling it trophies in the video. But you can follow the same methods to get the achievements on Xbox One. In this one I’ll be showing you guys all the locations of Dr. Murphy’s audio logs which are needed for the Evolution Theory trophy/achievement. The first one is located in the Medbay of the Research and Development zone. It’s to the left as soon as you enter the medbay behind some boxes. The second one is located in an area that is Unmapped. It’s an area you have to get to as part of the story, and is directly after meeting Jo for the 3rd and final time. You will eventually come to a room that has blue lighting and has a ton of enemies. Once you deal with them interact with the console in the room to get the audio log. The 3rd one is located in a room that requires you to have the final exo security rig. You get the rig after defeating the 4th boss in the game, so you will have to come back to the Research and Development area to get this log. From the Medbay follow the path shown in the video to get to the security door. Let the door scan you and it will let you in if you have the security rig. Go inside and take the lift down. Now there are two extremely dangerous enemies which I died to several times here. So I suggest running to the log, grabbing it and running for your life. These enemies have like insane hyper armor and can crush through your attacks with ease. The log is on a terminal to the right of the entrance. The next log is directly after the previous one, just follow the path to another terminal on the left with this log. Beware as there are more chrysalis enemies in here. The 5th log is found in the Nucleus area, which is the final area in the game. From the medbay on the first floor, follow the path past the enemies and go up the stairs. At the top of the stairway, you can find the log beside the railing. The 6th log is found directly after the previous one. Go through the door and go to the end of the hall and take a left. There will a couple chrysalis enemies so be careful. In this small area, you can find the box to the left corner of the room beside some boxes. The 7th log is found after you raise the medbay to the second floor. Follow the path shown in the video to reach the log as it’s kind of hard to explain with all the tunnels you have to go through to get to the log. The 8th one is found after you raise the medbay platform to the third level, and is directly after you interact with the power circuit that will open the path to the final boss. Go past the power circuit and take the lift down. Now go through some more tunnels to reach a door that opens a shortcut to the 2nd floor area. You can find the log beside the door. The last audio log is found past the Nucleus Launchpad Control area. Follow the path taken in the video as there are many tunnels to go through. The Launchpad control room is the room where you can upload the virus to get the alternate ending. Past the terminal you can go to another area filled with chrysalis crystals. In this new area, the log can be found at the end of the path. This path overlooks the final boss room.
