This song are sick! A game that needs no introduction! FF7 was definitely not the first RPG I ever played but I can see why it made such a lasting impression on people who never played them before. This song always really stood out to me and really helped set the tone of the game. I think ALL video game music composers are talented, but Nobuo Uematsu is really one of the greats and on a different level. It's truly amazing the work he did on the Final Fantasy games and how much emotion he really squeezed out of the hardware on the older titles, especially! I hope my cover does the original justice! I think I spruced it up a little bit but kept it pretty close to the original. Don't fix it if it ain't broke huh! I did the bassline with Synth 1 and TAL Noisemaker (which is becoming a favorite!) and the realistic instruments with the Yamaha MX49. I liked the contrast between buzzy synth sounds and "real" instrument sounds, and then I went Tom Sawyer with the filter sweeps towards the end lol Thanks for checking it out and for the support!
