Supreme Team (DJ Swirly, MC Preshus & MC Starky) | Old Skool UK Garage Set 1999 | Pure Magic FM 90.2

Artwork by Take Me Back Pirate Radio Archives. The Supreme Team was a spectacle on 90.2 FM, especially around 1998/99. It was one of the most talked about shows in London's garage scene. MC Preshus being noticed had cemented his name in garage scene with regular bookings and radio show appearances. Sadly, the Supreme Team didn't survive the test of time. Preshus went on to feature on Deja Vu FM 92.3, under Randy C's management and began teaming up with Freek FM's MC 2 Ton, who recently broke away from the Bashment Crew. Out those of you that remember a night called SUSS @Harlequins Night Club, in Ilford. Check this channel for recordings of that night and more Pure Magic 90.2 FM shows. That year Preshus MC would lay down his signature lyrics on his first LP release with: DJ Chubbstarr & A. Fernandes feat. MC Preshus ‎– Rinse Out (DAM Records, 1999). He went to record another track the following year in 2000 with sparring partner MC TEK from Pure Magic FM: Babyface Jay Featuring Preshus & MC Tek ‎– Slip 'n' Slide (white label, 2000), laying down his signature lyric "Slip "n' Slide". In 2001, he also released another track called: "Dirty Cash"- El Nino Feat. Mim & MC Preshus (Allstar Records). El Nino was a pseudo name of DJ Shax (Jimmi Shax), of London Underground FM 89.4 who is currently part a collective of producers called "The Clairvoyants" with DJ Jason H. That tune was also remixed by Wiley Kat. Preshus also released: Jedi Mind Trix (Remix) - Ten Shi Feat. Preshus MC ‎(Hocus Pocus Label, 2001), followed by Preshus MC would later join the early Grime crew, East Connection (also known as East Co) which featured the likes of: DJ Nicky Slim Ting, DJ Mac 10, DJ Diesle, MC Jookie Mundo, MC Major Ace, Mc Napper, MC Shizzle, MC Bashy, MC Double O, MC Stormin', MC Sharky Major, MC Demon, MC Fresh, MC Maxwell D, MC Godsgift and MC Lady Fury. Featuring on the highly rated double pack Mix CD, East Connection ‎– Box Bloody Fresh (Box Fresh Recordings, 2003) which featured an array of tracks recorded by MC Preshus and many have attributed Preshus as being one of the original members of the Grime movement, although let is spoken about today. His tracks from that album were as follows: - "Bad Ass Girl" - Dek Collektors Featuring – Jookie Mundo & Preshus. - Smasher - "Hear We Go" - Ft. Knight Of The Round Table & Preshus. - Preshus - "Callin", "Geeneus - "Ballers" - Ft. Jookie Mundo, Preshus & Maxwell D. - DJ DLUX - Dek Collectors ft MC Preshus & Rayna - Everyday - Diesle - "Dear Mum" - Ft. Jookie Mundo & Preshus. - Diesle - "Trust & Understanding" - Ft. Jookie Mundo & Preshus. - East Connection - "Hey Girl" Ft. Bubblelet, Jookie Mundo, Preshus, Maxwell.D, & Mervin. In recent years with the revival the UK Garage movement, Preshus MC resurrected his vocal career teaming up with Scott & Nick and vocalist Shiona‎– Let Me Be (Highly Swung Records, 2016). In 2017, he released "Return of the Mack" ft Dizzle Kid, Vapour & Preshus, which had a video made for the British Grime channel GRM Daily. Also making appearances on Pyroradio with DJ J Fresh. Preshus had linked up with sparring partner MC Vapour and was beginning to make his impact felt again. Also independently releasing his first solo album: Evolution (2019) which features MC Sharky P, MC Creed, MC Net, MC Swifta, DJ Sly, Reds and Darren Martyn.
