Orthodontic Records for Braces - Braces Guide

After the initial exam with an orthodontist and if the patient is ready to start with braces, orthodontic records are usually the next step in the process of getting braces. The process is usually very simple and easy for the patient. The additional information needed usually includes x-rays (panoramic, cephalometric, and/or Cone Beam CT CBCT), photographs of the teeth and bite as well as smiling and profile pictures of the face, and an impression or digital scan for the models of the teeth.
